OUR WORK

The Open A Dor Foundation funds school programming to support mental health among adolescents

School Programming to Support Mental Health

The Surgeon General called for warning labels on social media. Words have power, and cyberbullying leads to long-term issues. Open A Dor funds curriculum to offset the effects of social media and support mental health.

Sponsored Books to Support Literacy

It's critical to reach youth with the encouragement to navigate an ever-shifting world. By providing sponsored books with storylines to instill self-worth, we ensure all students feel empowered to reach their full potential.

Assemblies to Engage and Impact Adolescents

Adolescents have access to every influencer and brand via their phones, but carte blanch access has resulted in a lack of true, personal connection. Open A Dor funds activations designed to impact a digital generation.

Student Interviews to Address Social Media

Student interviews are intended to invoke authentic dialogue and real conversations with today's youth regarding social media, self-worth, empathy, kindness, and safety tips to protect their digital footprint.

STUDENT ROUNDTABLE INTRODUCTION

USING BOOK CHARACTERS TO INVOKE CONVERSATION

It's one thing to hear adults discuss statistics. It's far different to hear the facts from those most affected by a modern world: TODAY'S YOUTH

We collaborate with partners to fund books and programs. Book characters are used to create curriculum, which bridges the discussion of mental health to forge a real connection for students of all ages.

Our Work
Helps Animals.

Open A Dor supports animal shelters. We allocate a portion of funds to helping sheltered animals find loving homes.

We find creative ways to help animals shine. In doing so, the animals create "character" to reinforce kindness.
